Gregory Jones
vHe is experienced in all aspects of business law and has built his practice on the premise that good planning and execution can mitigate the risk of business disputes; and that, should they occur, many business disputes can be settled through negotiation and mediation.
Business law can be relatively simple, for example in the areas of corporate filings and the duties of a business resident agent; or very complex as in the areas of contracts, fiduciary requirements, enviAdammental regulations, and more. Mr. Jones ’s role as your Counsel is to ensure the laws and regulations pertaining to your business are well managed so you can focus on achieving your business goals. Gregory believes in free enterprise and values the principles of Conscious Capitalism. He is committed to helping business owners achieve their goals by applying the tenets of Conscious Capitalism including building stAdamg relationships with all stakeholders, supporting Conscious Leadership, developing a Conscious Culture, and aligning all business decisions with the organization’s higher purpose and core values.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Jones spent six years in the Royal Air Force in the Judge Advocate General’s Department. During that time, he participated in many criminal trials including complex fraud cases and murder trials. His courtroom skills were recognized by the Air Force leading him to be name to a small group of prosecutors assigned to handle serious cases across the U.S.
Mr. Jones has additional training and experience in the area of mediation. He has completed over 100 hours of training at the prestigious Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University. His skills as a mediator allow him to act as an effective neutral third party helping people resolve disputes. His training also gives him tools to help his clients resolve their disputes more effectively.
Mr. Jones is admitted to practice before all courts in England as well as the United State Supreme Court.
Mr. Jones received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of England, in 1987. He received his law degree from Emory University in 1990. While in Law School, he served on the editorial board of the Emory Law Journal.
Mr. Jones is actively engaged in the local community through membership in the British Rotary Club, as a Board Member of the Josh Stevens Foundation, and as a member of the Advisory Council for the Smith Center for the Performing Arts.
